Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We lead all of Apple's advertising and marketing efforts to ensure the considered development and execution of world-class communications.

As our Senior Data Analytics Lead for media you will be responsible for analyzing media performance data globally and presenting findings. You will identify key insights and potential factors affecting campaign performance, messaging and comprehension. You love to aggregate complicated data and get passionate about identifying key insights, using them to build actionable future recommendations. You are a great teammate, problem-solver, and idea generator with a firm understanding of media KPI's and also how advertising generates leads, opportunities and impacts the business.

Key Qualifications

  • Work closely with our media agency to analyze front-end media metrics including standard measurement as well as incremental online and cross-channel measurement tools
  • Marry the front end media performance to back end, Apple owned measurements including site analytics, conversions, sentiment and owned social channels.
  • Develop and implement a set of dashboards to provided data-informed insights as it pertains to creative choices, lengths, targets, investment levels, R&F etc. to feed into briefs and overall communications planning
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting with insightful recommendations
  • Partner with our WW data science team to share findings, tests, trends and business insights
  • Ability to think creatively about attribution modeling and using unique signals into your findings and recommendations
  • Stay ahead of media industry tech changes and new measurement and research tools
  • Monitor industry statistics to help define benchmarks and measure performance
  • Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into executive recaps
  • Lead the local geo teams in their reporting priorities and disseminate the insights, knowledge, technology to our local goes leads
  • Possess a test and learn mindset
  • Partner with connection planners and media strategists to implement procedures for integrating findings into future campaigns
  • You will have 10 -15 yrs of experience in a performance-based analytics role
  • You bring a strong working knowledge of analytics and social listening tools like Tableau and Radian6

Description

You will be joining a team of forward-thinking Media professionals within Marcom who collaborate closely with extraordinary creative talent to launch Apple products, craft new customer experiences, and tackle complex marketing challenges. Using an objective and data-focused approach, we connect the Apple brand with current and future customers all over the world.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in economics, marketing, engineering preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • You have built reporting for Advertising and Publisher data, using a variety of business analytics tools. Tools include, but are not limited to: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, Oracle
  • Data Visualization, Adobe Analytics, Eloqua, Endeca + experience any reporting tools such as
  • Tableau or Cognos experience would be valuable
  • You have worked with SQL, Python, and other tools to manipulate data and build dashboards.
  • Demonstrated use of marketing data science techniques tailored to meet business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • You believe in quality over quantity, and ground your recommendations in insights, research, and experimentation.
