Job Summary:

Raytheon Missiles & Defense Andover has an opening for a Senior Material Planning and Scheduling Analyst in our Materials Planning and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) team.
The successful candidate has working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective planning and execution.
This role will work to align the actual performance of the Circuit Card Manufacturing shared resource value streams to the operational plans that govern them through MRP. It will interface with Planning, Production Control, Factory Operations, Program Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to help ensure resources are efficiently utilized based on a low volume, high mix demand profile for programs with competing priorities and unique material challenges. The role requires daily, cross-functional collaboration through data analysis, simulation, and fact-based influence to maintain organizational goals and objectives. The individual in this role will need to quickly develop credibility and influence while leveraging strong interpersonal skills. They will foster a working environment that promotes safety, security, compliance, and quality while achieving overall customer requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Manage kit readiness and release production orders in MRP system for CCA shared resource areas
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize WIP and communicate forecasted completion dates to internal team
  • Manage BOM offsets and support critical path planning or capacity discussions
  • Manage material availability, system health metrics, and WIP reporting
  • Provide production floor support including replacement part management, WIP status, and facilitating delivery to next step (inventory or shipment)
  • Control the physical disposition of non-conforming or specially handled material including Return to Vendor, purged material, WIP STOP per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub-assemblies as required
  • Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through sub-contractors, internal shared resources, and other Raytheon facilities
  • Maintain integrity of MRP and inventory systems through key performance metrics

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:
  • MRP knowledge, SAP PRISM experience preferred
  • Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook, Skype, and Teams)
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
  • Knowledge of working across business areas and interface at all levels of organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines
  • Ability to multitask; well-organized and work well under pressure
