Job Description: Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) is looking for a Senior Planner and Production Control Professional who will be responsible for RMD program demand management. Will be expected to support Program, Operations, Engineering and SCM colleagues through the life cycle of customer fulfillment. A deep understanding of program requirements, lead times and impacts to the entire supply chain is critical. Should have experience in current generation ERP systems and understand master data impacts to planning.
A deep understanding of MRP and order factor impacts to the master schedule
Knowledge of resource planning and inputs required to support an executable capacity plan
Have a deep understanding of Material Master, BOM and Production Planning Process integration
Communicate consistently with cross functional teams and flow up concise information to leadership
Identify and lead continuous improvement projects
Applies knowledge of demand, material availability, capacity, and constraints to determine priorities and escalation requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or equivalent education and work experience.
4 years business experience in a planning, program management, business, supply chain, and/or manufacturing
Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and related systems Desired Qualifications:
APICS CSCP or equivalent required (achieve within first 12 months)
Demonstrated skills in influence and presence with business leadership
Experience in planning, controlling and directing activities related to planning and scheduling
Experience interfacing with all levels of internal Management and working collaboratively with Program Management
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
