Job Summary:

Raytheon Missiles and Defense is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development to join our Talent Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team. The Manager will be reporting to the Talent Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (TD/DE&I) Senior Director for Raytheons Missile and Defense (RMD) Business, youll be part of an HR Community of Expertise accountable for empowering our global workforce to achieve their individual career aspirations while they make the world a safer place. Working closely with senior leaders and HR peers across the company, you will design strategic efforts focused on identifying, developing, advancing and retaining talent globally at RMD. The role is responsible for delivering on a talent strategy, aligned with the organizational goals and relative to succession planning, talent growth, learning and career development, retention, and DE&I.

The preferred work location will be Tewksbury, MA or Tucson, AZ, with travel as required. This role will be hybrid to include onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Designs and delivers talent practices aligned with RMDs business and talent strategies.
  • Works with HR Partners to gain insight into the talent needs and to execute talent processes.
  • Leverages HR analytics to track talent and DE&I metrics, resulting in the development of proactive strategies.
  • Runs internal searches and prepares lists of potential internal candidates taking into consideration diversity representation, capability needs, and effective movement of talent.
  • Acts as an internal talent ambassador and change agent to facilitate cross-organizational moves.
  • Supports high potential employees through career coaching discussions.
  • Collaborates with peers across Raytheon Technologies businesses and Corporate to integrate, influence or drive consistency for TD and DE&I processes and programs.
  • Collaborates with functional council representatives to align learning and DE&I strategies with talent initiatives.
  • Leverages DE&I capabilities to further embed best practices into talent processes.
  • Coaches leaders and HR Partners on Raytheon Technologies Talent Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs and philosophy to ensure optimal program understanding and effective use of processes and practices.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • 10 Years of experience with Bachelors degree or 7 Years of experience with an Advanced degree in one of the following areas: Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or Business.
  • Talent Management/ DE&I /Human Resource experience, including demonstrated results designing and deploying talent development practices that impact a large organization and experience with career coaching.
  • Strong partnership abilities and effective project management skills; able to drive projects to closure.

  • Proven ability to work in a global, virtual environment.
