The organization captures new business opportunities, both in the U.S. and internationally, for air and missile defense systems, precision weapons, radars, command and control systems and advanced defense technologies.

Job Description:

Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) organization.

The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting R&C Customer Operations and Excellence through the coordination of customer engagements and events. The coordination will span across multiple RMD Mission Areas, RTX businesses and functions as well as International and Federal Government Relations. Pre planning coordination, agenda development and preparation and distribution of white papers will be required in support of these key engagements.

This person will support customer engagement activities at the RMD level, including Customer Visits, Domestic and International Trips for the LT, as well as site tours for customers, suppliers, congressional and internal visits. In addition, in partnership with communications, the individual will provide oversight for execution of customer engagements at RMD Trade Shows. ERPM Pipeline data will be analyzed to make recommendations on engagement prioritization.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications you must have:
  • 10+ years experience working in relevant industry with experience
  • Experience with one or more of the follow disciplines: Business Development, Contracts, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Operations, IT and/or Project Management
  • Experience presenting to executive level stake holders
  • Experience analyzing metrics to drive business/program improvement
  • Bachelors Degree
  • U.S Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security clearance within one year of hire.

  • Flexibility to adapt and lead teams through the change to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of RMD and Enterprise products / capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships at all levels of the Organization both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Six Sigma (GB or BB) and or Lean qualifications.
