Senior/Lead Computer Scientist (TS/SCI Polygraph)

We are seeking an engineer to provide hands-on technical support in the areas of network and system forensics and in reverse software engineering. Our sponsor requires innovative and unconventional thinking and creativity, along with a desire to see systems and software actually used in an effective manner.



Key Functions: Perform hands-on software development and make recommendations for improvement at all stages of the development cycle. Apply and substantiate engineering judgment and make recommendations on Sponsors development concepts and products. This position is located in the Washington Metropolitan area.












Required Qualifications:



Deep technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
1) Software engineering
2) Web development
3) Data Science and Analytics
4) Machine Learning

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and direct experience with database development and UI development.



Preferred Qualifications:
Full stack web development skills. Demonstrated proficiency in an object oriented programming language such as Java, C#, or Python. Experience with javascript and other front end web development frameworks. Familiarity with the MVC development pattern. Candidate may be asked to present/defend findings to senior Sponsor and MITRE management. BS or MS in mathematics, computer science, or related field and 5 years of related experience.


Minimum Qualifications: BS Degree, Polygraph clearance, and 3 years' related experience.
