Digital Technology:

RMD Digital Technology (IT) is a full-service organization that enables growth of the RMD business by working with our customers to develop innovative technology solutions. RMD DT functional areas include Digital Business Infrastructure, Digital Workplace Services, Digital Analytics and Applications, Strategy and Architecture, Advanced Technology and Digital Transformation, Program Execution, Engineering Solutions, Growth and Program Excellence and Cybersecurity and Compliance.

There is a current need for a Sr Information Systems Technologist I (BD95) for the RMD DT Factory Floor Team.

Job Description:
This position is as a member of the Factory Integration and Modernization team within the RMD Digital Technology organization. This team is responsible for providing support for existing and emerging operational technology solutions on the factory floor. This is a technical position where the ideal candidate will be an IT/OT generalist and have network, end-user and server framework experience, at a minimum. A majority of the work will involve implementing cyber-secure solutions for environments containing both information technology and operational technology. Additional responsibilities will include technical solutions documentation supporting cyber-security compliance as well as operational technology asset management.

Note that this role will be based in Andover, MA with travel required to other MA/RI based RMD locations as business needs dictate. Capped budget Relocation will be available for the selected applicant if they qualify per company policy. Budget amount will be discussed at the appropriate stage of our process.

A US Dept. of Defense Security clearance will be required within one year of start date. The selected applicant will go through the application process after their start date. Except in rare cases, only US Citizens are eligible to obtain US Security clearances.

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in two or more of the following areas: network design, Windows system administration, UNIX system administration, application packaging and scripting, data analysis, or installation and operation of factory IT equipment
  • Experience with operational technology (OT) systems (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, etc)
  • Technical curiosity, pragmatism, and a passion for solving technical problems
  • Detail oriented and methodical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer literacy x86-based hardware and Microsoft operating systems
  • Understanding and appreciation for cyber-security vulnerability remediation and system hardening
  • Solid interpersonal skills, ability to debate, dialogue, negotiate, influence and work with others collaboratively and constructively
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently
  • Ability to work multiple projects/programs simultaneously
  • Ability to attain a DOD Security Clearance, except in rare cases, only US Citizens are eligible to obtain a DOD Clearance.
Desired Skills:
  • Mastery of computing/networking fundamentals including TCPIP, DNS/DHCP, AD/GPO, WLAN, VPN
  • Technical experience supporting computing assets in engineering and/or factory floor environments
  • Experience with the Raytheon IRAMP (Information Risk Assessment and Management Process)
  • Literacy in additional computer operating systems including Unix and Linux
  • Experience with Citrix and virtual desktop/application delivery technologies
  • Support experience in a dynamic automated manufacturing environment
  • Vision of continuous improvement in data acquisition and automation
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean certification/training
  • Current DOD Security Clearance (Confidential)

Education:
Bachelors degree highly desired, or in lieu of degree, directly applicable equivalent work experience in Engineering, Computer or Information Science will be considered at the hiring managers discretion.
