If you are passionate about computer graphics, disrupting the industry with your innovation and working with leading graphics engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architecture, then our Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE)  team has opportunities for you. In GTCHE  we are passionate about delivering industry-leading  GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. 

We are looking for a Senior Logic Design Engineer to join our team.  This position is at the forefront of Intel's next generation media development. In this position, you will utilize all your talents to work on the micro architecture/ logic design of the latest best Intel media quick sync technology and design.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Design flow which encompasses all aspects of logic design methodology

  • Feature feasibility study , performance analysis and micro architecture of latest landing zone requirement

  • Digital design of a wide variety of logic functions, with emphasis on media encoder/decoder design

  • Register Transfer Level RTL HDL design feasibility, development and debug

  • Developing C or Perl behavioral models for media codec blocks

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:


A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a directly related discipline with 6+ years of industry experience in one, or more, of the following:

  • Computer system architecture

  • Digital electronics and logic design

  • Verilog or System Verilog

  • Logic verification, synthesis, and timing analysis tools

  • C or Perl programming

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a directly related discipline, and 4+ years of industry experience

  • Media Knowledge on video standards like H.264, HEVC, VP8/9

  • Media codec standards
