Job Description

In line with Intel IDM 2.0, External Manufacturing Production EMP team is chartered with high volume manufacturing of Intel products with our 3rd party Foundry and OSAT suppliers.

EMP seeks a dynamic Senior Director of Manufacturability Enhancement ME Engineering
for, but not limited to:

  • Build and manage a world-class team of 30 plus engineers to drive Continuous Improvement Plan CIP, for yield and PPAC optimization, in High Volume Manufacturing HVM. Team will centralize lessons learned and develop automated methodology, tools, and state-of-the-art solutions.

  • Develop and grow talent needed in those domains relevant to HVM such as, but not limited to, device, process integration FE and BE, yield management and enhancement, device and chiplet integration e.g., design marginality and process sweet-spot and windowing.

  • Manage a team across multi-geographies to deliver seamless high volume product execution.

  • ME team will seek inputs from Intel BU to understand needs and requirements. Plan and support execution of porting qualification for Foundry and OSAT supply chain.

  • Develop collaborative relationship with key manufacturing partners to enhance and accelerate yield and PPAC optimization and drive cost reduction programs.

  • ME will collaborate with other engineering and product teams during technology development and NPI phase


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree Or PHD Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in external Foundry, OSAT and possess hands-on technical skills from process integration, yield and PPA enhancement in the Fab or OSAT.

  • Candidate must have experience leading global cross functional teams and experience driving external resources to successfully qualify and optimize products with our 3rd party Foundry and OSAT supply chain.

  • Candidate must be experienced with data driven decision-making and ensuring successful production ramp.

  • Candidate is expected to have experience building teams, managing budget and resource allocation.
