Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer

This position is an exciting opportunity for a senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineer to shape the future of the Army by developing cutting-edge DSP technologies. This person would serve as a technical leader in applying DSP across multiple Army domains including wireless communications and Electronic Warfare (EW). The candidate must be capable of understanding gaps, formulating technical solutions, and leading small teams to execute research and engineering in DSP.

  • Detection & Estimation Theory and Applications
  • Statistical Signal Processing
  • Inference Algorithms
  • Digital Communications (Physical and MAC layers)
  • Wireless Communications
  • Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) and array processing
  • C/C++, Python, Matlab
    Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and CUDA



  • Bachelors degree in engineering and other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing DSP algorithms
  • Possess strong understanding of both the theory and practice of DSP and related areas
  • Experienced with programming in C/C++
  • Familiarity with software defined radios
  • Knowledge of hardware including radio frequency (RF) through digital and embedded processing
  • Demonstrated ability to develop novel solutions



It is preferable for the candidate to have one or more of the following:

  • Experience leading teams 
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning
  • Experience programming GPUs using CUDA 
  • Knowledge of Wireless Communications, EW, Position Navigation and Timing (PNT), or Radar 
  • Familiarity with emerging DSP technologies from industry or academia
  • Knowledge of Information Theory

Minimum Qualifications:


  • BS and 3 years related experience.
