Position Summary:


The Strategic Sensor Systems Program Area within the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Product Line is seeking a Senior Coordinator Administrator to support business operations for the THAAD FMS Programs. In this role you will perform a wide range of administrative duties that will assist organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing day to day activities including handling office administrative tasks in a timely manner, travel coordination and travel expense reporting and composing other reports, charts, and presentations to include inter-office correspondence and emails.

The Senior Coordinator Administrator will manage the program leaders calendars, as well as screen calls and emails to assist the leaders in effectively managing time, dates, commitments, and schedules. You will submit and maintain visitor requests from customers and suppliers, and escort personnel within the area while providing additional cross-functional support to the program team as needed.

The successful person will be able to work well in a diverse team environment under minimal supervision with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Expense report reconciliation.
Preparation of domestic and complex international travel arrangements and travel briefing documents.
Prepare, edit and format documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
Scheduling and organization of internal and external conference calls and meetings, both classified and unclassified.
Effective management of the program leaders calendar and coordination of conference room usage.
Basic research, data compilation and database maintenance for projects and documents.
Review and edit outgoing correspondence/staff documents for accuracy and compliance with established policies and guidelines.
Maintain internal program website for accuracy and control access requests.
Support to onboarding new employees.
Orders and arranges for office-supplies, catering, and/or meeting rooms according to business need in a timely and effective manner.
Proactively identify ways to enable greater productivity and efficiency in the role.
Ability to work Overtime as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Strong administrative and organizational skills including managing one or more senior leaders schedules
Ability to generate charts, tables, memoranda, reports, correspondence and other material with speed and accuracy
Experience in managing a calendar, scheduling and coordinating meetings, arranging travel, creating expense reports for staff and being able to compile and prepare data reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet browsers
U.S. Citizenship is required

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance within one year of employment. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

Associates or Bachelors Degree in related discipline and/or Professional Certification in Executive Administrative role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Raytheon Qualified Six Sigma Specialist
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including excellent phone skills and the ability to maintain confidences
Knowledge of company policies and procedures (Business Travel, Business Courtesies, EXIM guidelines etc.)
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work within a multi-tasking environment and stay on top of task deadlines and due dates
Demonstrated experience interacting with senior levels of leadership effectively
Exercises good judgment and can take initiative to complete tasks in a self-directing manner
Demonstrated attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and adapt to changes in priorities in a fast-paced environment
