Client Computing Group CCG designs and develops Intels next-generation platforms catering to all segments in Mobile Computing.  

The Client Memory Subsystem  (CMS) is the Memory Signal integrity team within CCG focuses on developing platform electrical collateral, Influence Intel Next-Gen Designs for Client products and supports customer for CCG roadmap products.  

In this position, a candidate will be responsible for leading platform electrical subsystem workgroup focusing primarily on Signal Integrity, Power Integrity & EMI/RFI to influence Intel next Gen product roadmap.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and lead a technical team from multi geo-strategy, for product/project definition, technical readiness & execution.

  • Perform system electrical analysis and analyzing validation/Simulation results to influence next gen Silicon, Package, socket, System form factor and DRAM industry to make Client products competitive.

  • Perform signal integrity analysis for package and silicon die level and give out recommendations that help to meet the required specifications.

  • Perform Signal Integrity simulations and timing analysis and correlating simulations with system measurements.

  • Interact with cross function teams like Silicon Circuit Design, Package Design, Board Design & Electrical Validation teams, among others, for ensuring the proper design/implementation of highspeed interfaces.

  • Define System Board Architectures for memory interface, review the PCB

  • Printed Circuit Board) layout and sign off the designs.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher Electrical Engineering or similar technical STEM degree.

  • 9+ years of Semi-Conductor Industry Experience.

  • 8+ years of experience with the following:

  • Electrical electromagnetic fundamentals

  • Signal Integrity fundamentals

  • System board design and process

  • High-Speed System Interfaces

  • 3D/2.5D simulation tools like Ansys HFSS & Q3D, Keysight-ADS, Synopsis - HSpice, Cadence - PowerSI, etc

  • Electronic equipment including digital oscilloscope DMM network analyzer etc

  • PCB design tools including Allegro Mentor PCB and exposure to UNIX

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or higher Electrical Engineering or similar technical STEM degree
