Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We lead all of Apple's advertising and marketing efforts to ensure the considered development and execution of world-class communications.

The Advertising team provides oversight on Apple's advertising activities worldwide, and we are the essential link between the Marcom (Marketing Communications) department and external agencies. In addition to liaising with many diverse groups, including Finance, Legal, Services Marketing, Product Marketing, Partner Communications, and Retail, we also maintain positive relationships with partners around the world at the international offices of Apple and Media Arts Lab. Developing and encouraging healthy, productive, professional partnerships is an essential requirement of every member of our team.

In this role, you will be leading the team responsible for driving the creative development and production of Apple TV+ advertising and integrated social campaigns.

Key Qualifications

  • You have 12+ years of marketing experience working for global brands, ideally advertising specific with an emphasis on production and building integrated campaigns.
  • Experience working in social media, both paid and organic. You understand digital & social behaviors and how to inform the development of integrated creative campaigns.
  • Experience leading a team and managing others. You're able to provide guidance and dig in when needed and also allow teams the autonomy they require to do their jobs effectively.
  • You can balance working in a fast-paced, creatively driven organization applying strong work ethic.
  • Your project and time management skills are excellent, you learn fast, and can accommodate rapid change reacting quickly to new information.
  • A strategic problem solver, comfortable navigating and ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • The ability to inventively problem solve and organize information at a high level to address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward with rigorous attention to detail.
  • You have extraordinary communication and negotiation skills and are at ease building rapport, credibility and influence with multiple partners working in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization.
  • A passionate Apple user who is familiar with Apple applications, including Mail, Numbers, Keynote, Pages, and Calendar.

Description

You will oversee a large, integrated team to develop and implement advertising and social campaigns across channels to support Apple TV+.

Advertising channels include TV, radio, out-of-home, and extensive digital platforms, including performance marketing. Your team will partner with creative & production teams both internally and at agencies in the development of outstanding advertising creative. You will ask the tough questions, ensure Apple brand values are upheld, and inspire teams to develop breakthrough work. In addition, you will work closely with international offices on localization strategies to ensure the creative we produce is locally relevant.

Lead the team responsible for producing integrated social campaigns for Apple TV+ films and series, ensuring we focus our efforts in the right places to develop ideas that generate buzz and conversation. Social campaigns run across a range of platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, as well as in-world activations, PR amplification, and talent engagement. The shape of the work changes as the media landscape changes. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment between paid advertising & organic social efforts to help build truly integrated campaigns.

Partner with critical teams, including Media, Brand, Strategy, and Operations, and drive process improvements that help teams work smarter and more efficiently.

Occasionally lead confidential initiatives, working to maintain security and secrecy through the duration of the project. You and your team will manage disclosure lists, maintaining strict security procedures internally and with our vendors.

Oversee the Apple TV+ advertising & integrated social production budgets, monitor POs, and work with teams to review production estimates to ensure projects are on track and within scope. You and your team will partner closely with Finance to provide ongoing updates on the status of production and to ensure proper financial reporting.

Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
