Job Summary:
This Huntsville, Alabama or Woburn, Massachusetts-based Product Area Directorate (PAD) Security Manager (PSM) position will support the Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) PAD Director and leadership team in execution of new and existing contracts and programs and associated test and evaluation contracts. The S-3 PSM is the embedded security professional, security decision authority, and facilitator of a range of front line of the business security services at the S3 PAD level. The S3 PSM supports new business initiatives, promotes regulatory compliance with Department of Defense security regulations through effective training and influence, and advises PAD leadership and staff on multiple efficient execution options within the security policy space. The S3 PSM teams with program peers from Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Engineering to meet S3 business goals. The S3 PSM also engages with peer security managers across product lines and facility security teams. This position will report directly to the SMD Security Business Partner.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Strategic planning for meeting global security compliance requirements in our S3 product area. Reviewing contract Statements of Work (SOW), preparing Gate review artifacts, overseeing direct-charge security budgets, and contributing to Basis of Estimates (BoEs).
  • Assisting S3 PAD leadership and other security managers and representatives in resolving contract security issues directly with the government customer, subcontractors, Raytheon Technologies (RTX) teammates, and internal program personnel.
  • Assisting local facility security managers in solving routine security matters at various locations to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Advise and assist local government, military, and company security managers in solving security matters at deployed field sites in the continental United States and abroad.
  • Elevating classification issues to local subject matter experts and customer.
  • Supporting security data analytics and reporting trends to PAD leadership.
  • Managing administrative inquiries and investigations when needed.
  • Act as champion for classification management, OPSEC, and threat awareness training programs and their delivery to program personnel.
  • Be a champion for cybersecurity teams in the planning and coordination of accreditation of classified Information Systems.
  • Assisting locations with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) preparation or audit finding resolutions.
  • Visiting subcontractors and other locations to conduct formal assessments or provide security assistance as needed.
  • Lead self-inspections and security assistance visits to locations in the US and abroad.
  • Supporting other mission areas, product lines, and special projects as determined by security leadership and the needs of the business.
  • This position requires a minimum of an active U.S. Secret-level Security Clearance on day of hire.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment

Qualifications You must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree Security Management, Cybersecurity/Information Technology, Business Management, Government/International Security or similar curriculum.
  • 8 years of directly related experience (Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military or government information security programs)
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM/NISPOM SUPP, DAAPM, DD254 implications and/or DoD 5200.01 series
  • Experience in writing and developing operational plans and/or directives (SOPs).
  • Previous experience in a manager role with budget responsibility or leading strategic projects delivered on time and within budget
  • An active and in-scope US Secret Clearance
  • U.S Citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Value:
  • Masters Degree in Security Management, Cybersecurity/Information Technology, Business Management, Government/International Security or similar curriculum.
  • Experience with OPSEC, cybersecurity, and encryption requirements, and conducting security operations in field environments.
  • Ability to analyze and brief key points from SoWs, Program SCGs, OPSEC Plans, threat and vulnerability assessments to senior leaders.
  • Effective multi-tasking, budget, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in Government or Defense Contractor in related security field.
  • Self-motivated, with ability to make independent decisions.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to both lead and to follow to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience with and ability to travel throughout the United States and overseas.
  • Top Secret security clearance a plus.

Clearance Information:
This position requires a US Secret security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
