The Security, Engineering & Analytics team is looking for exceptional talent to join our team. In this role you will investigate account security concerns, fraud trends, ransomware and work with engineering to initiate investigations. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Ability to isolate, diagnose and resolve complex Apple ID account issues. Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA and worldwide compliance regulations
  • Adaptive interaction and outstanding communication with individuals of diverse technical proficiencies
  • Proven knowledge of Apple products; in particular iCloud services, Apple's online suites, and basic security & compliance procedural implementations.
  • Experience in Technical Support, Help Desk Support or Customer Service; skillful at troubleshooting Mac OS, Watch OS, and iOS
  • Adept at managing a high workload and multiple responsibilities within strict deadlines
  • Solid technical acumen; in-depth understanding of Apple internal account security procedures
  • Ability to work cross functionally with teams internationally
  • Fluency in any of the languages listed under 'Additional Requirements'

Description

Provide customer assistance with investigating account-specific security concerns, identity verification, Apple ID management and reporting risk probability assessments. Investigate fraud and security-related escalations from various support, engineering and cross-functional teams associated with an Apple ID services and from iCloud Engineering associated with Apple ID or iCloud related services.

Review case and analytics data to identify trends in fraud, abuse, account farming and device spoofing. Report results to the appropriate internal teams.

Educate customers about Apple's security support, features, options and self-service tools to ensure account security and privacy.

Education & Experience

Technical Associates degree or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • - Experience working with fraud or related security teams
  • - Experience reviewing client or server side logs
  • - Proficiency in any of these languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Danish, Dutch, Japanese, Mandarin, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, or Ukrainian.
