Job Summary: As a WLE Section Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10-20 personnel executing various facets of Condition Based Maintenance, RAM, FRACAS, and integration with Model Based Engineering design.As an experienced Engineer youll bring to the team your strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills and your ability to balance priorities, ensure alignment, drive strategy and communicate reasonable expectations at all levels in the organization. Youll be involved with the programs to provide lean, agile and efficient engineering support. Additionally with this team your leadership will ensure we are engaging Next Generation capabilities in our daily execution and forward looking strategy for RMD WLE. This role and the ability to drive MBE capabilities and system engineering level impact for design of system to enhance operator and maintainer use and sustainment of systems will be key. These tasks will include engagement on programs to drive capabilities as well as proposal and research/IRAD engagement.

Developing innovative technical solutions to unusually complex digital engineering problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity

Personnel issue resolution
Ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures
Mentoring practitioners to understand program tasks, issues and providing appropriate direction
Driving strategic solutions and best practices across the section and in harmony with Section Leader peers in the directorate
Driving digital engineering as applicable, including:
Conducting data and trending analyses
Developing Model Based System engineering profiles in SysML via Cameo or Rhapsody
Developing Data Features for algorithms
Driving strategy for integrating models with tools like Python and MatLab
An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: BS degree in a STEM discipline or BA in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics or Computer Science.
Employment Experience:
8+ years experience in engineering, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing operations in a military or civilian environment
Experience with proposals, sustainment activities, project management or program management
Experience with reliability, availability and/or maintainability engineering
Leadership or supervisory experience
Budget management experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required
Qualifications We Value:

Experience with Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) proposal process, including use of SBT, the generation of compliant BOEs, and the Program Management Estimate Request (PMER) tool
