This position provides support to Global Apple Sales channels, and is responsible for leading, building and transforming the Company's sales incentive function including commission plans, systems, process, commission calculations, and certain business operations and governance. In addition to managing other members of the commissions team, this position partners closely with HR, Sales, Sales Ops, IS&T, Legal, and Geo Finance teams. This leader will be a true partner to the organization and will approach the job with a lens of adding value to the company

Description

Manage analysts including hiring, and personnel activities such as reviews, coaching and career mentoring while establishing a vision for the commission's function

Process and coordinate accurate and timely commission payment, analysis and reporting of the data to appropriate business partners

Enforce processes, procedures and maintain adequate SOX controls around the collection of data in the Sales Incentive Compensation System

Provide quarterly analysis and reporting of commission metrics to broader business partners (Sales Ops, HR, Geo Finance, and Finance Controllers)

Promote proper procedure, infrastructure and data governance within company-wide teams; ensure redundancy in training across key processes

Participate in the maintenance and continued improvement of the compensation system and advise on alternative methods of achieving business objectives

Identify system enhancements to WWSF Leadership, Project Managers & IS&T

Work closely with management, business partners, and field sales teams to understand and resolve commission's issues and questions, and related implications are reviewed and considered in commission's cycles

Understand, implement and assist in the development of the Apple Compensation Policies and Plans

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field
CPA or MBA, a plus
