The RF Product & Technologies Department is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to engineer Data Link and complex communication systems. A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. This is an entry-level Electrical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and professional interest in the application of technical RF standards, principles, concepts, and techniques.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Required Education/Skills: - Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Science, Physics or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) degree. Must be either currently pursuing degree or degree must have been granted in the last 18 months.
- Communications systems design, data link hardware development, algorithm development, or digital signal processing.
- This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills: - ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
- Solid background and practical understanding of RF systems design considerations (to include experience or relevant course work).
- Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, System Vision, MATLAB, MathCad, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and Advanced Design System (ADS).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
