Job Summary:

The RF Test Engineer will work with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications. The candidate will apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and / or component defects. Additionally, the candidate will work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of development and integration within the RF Labs.


Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Troubleshooting to the component level utilizing schematics and test equipment
  • Integration, test and validation activities
  • Present and document findings to team members


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in test and measurement of RF products

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Value:
  • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
  • Experience in reading, understanding and accurately following prints, schematics, sketches, as well as work from verbal and/or written instructions including test procedures
  • Past work history with the design, fabrication and testing of electronic and mechanical sub-systems and CCAs
  • Mechanical knowledge, ability to fabricate test setups.
  • Experience in documenting findings encountered during testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor DX Designer, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), SystemVue, Genesys, and Advanced Design System (ADS).
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills with desire to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Ability to prepare documentation with minimal oversight.
  • Candidate will have solid communication and teaming skills.
  • Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints.
  • Strong problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
