The Retail Online team is looking for a senior leader to run our global Promotions Readiness team. The WW Readiness organization is responsible for launch strategy and execution of new product introductions, promotions & campaigns across the Apple.com/shop, Apple Store App & five additional digital customer platforms across 39 countries. Our goal is deliver the perfect launch moment, for all customers wherever they are.

In this role, you will work cross functionally with Stores, Product Management, Online Merchandising and Demand Generation, Retail Marketing, Marcom, Engineering and Operations to provide the best-in-class customer experience for a broad range of Online promotions and campaigns, reporting directly to the head of Retail Online Readiness.

The Retail Online Promotions Readiness Manager is a natural leader and facilitator; a strategic problem solver who can "connect the dots" at multiple levels; is driven, organized and detail oriented; communicates with ease at all levels; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence; and displays grace under fire.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience (5+ in leadership) in a fast-paced, global eCommerce environment.
  • Deep business operations and program management expertise with a resilient and agile approach that can get results
  • Demonstrated experience managing a broad portfolio of initiatives and priorities.
  • Ability to span from long-term strategic vision to tactical execution with ease.
  • Must display great ability to prioritize deliverables, focusing on critical path items, with a persistent attention to detail.
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Thrives in an ambiguous environment and can think clearly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive team-player and leader with a can-do attitude and a deep sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience collaborating and using resources from matrixed organizations across multiple regions (EMEIA, APAC, AMR).
  • Comfortable taking on any crisis moments. Encourages direct and tough debate, and intuitively knows when to drive to a decision.
  • Influences senior leadership through poised presentations of concepts and recommendations. Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Partners with global functional teams both inside and outside of the Retail Online organization, maintaining strong support for regional functional teams.
  • Possesses a real passion for process improvement with an approach that urges innovation, precision, and efficiency optimizations.
  • Experience as a change agent having effectively implemented and managed change in large cross functional organizations.
  • As a leader, the ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and provide coherent direction and inspiration to the entire team.
  • Demonstrate an ability to structure an organization and optimize it for execution, including attracting top tier talent and filing out gaps in the existing team quickly to accommodate growth

Description
- This is a critical role with a wide range of strategic and tactical responsibilities, including:
- Developing and leading the Online Promotions management systems, covering WW and regional promotions & campaigns, from pre-planning through launch activities, ensuring confidentiality and perfect execution.
- Continuously identify, elevate and lead the risks and mitigation paths for all promotions and campaigns.
- Collaborate with Readiness launch teams to lead the launch moment and post-launch workstreams.
- Effectively lead alignment and communication between partners, subject matter experts, executives and other internal groups.
- Build a deep understanding of multi-function promotions processes, across Retail, Operations and IS&T. Lead the team to continuously refine direction to adapt to changing promotions paradigms.
- Set functional KPIs and ensuring there are tools and metrics to measure the efficiency of each goal.

Education & Experience
- BA in a related field, or equivalent work experience is desired.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or Retail is a plus.
