Job Description

The Product Quality and Reliability organization (PSG) is seeking an Engineering  Manager who will be accountable for the overall qualification of all PSG products. The PSG quality and reliability team supports product development and enabling for all PSG products focused on validation of short and long-term reliability and ensuring the Intel brand exceeds the customers' expectations.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Managing a large team focused on qualifying FPGA, Structures ASICs, and power products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Setting priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. 
  • Planning and providing resources for and direct activities in engineering functions to meet schedules, standards, and costs. 
  • Cultivating and reinforcing appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. 
  • Identifying and analyzing problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. 
  • Guiding employee development, performance, and productivity issues. 
  • Planning and scheduling daily tasks use judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

  • Robust verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Device Physics, Material Science or related field.

10+ years of demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas:

  • JEDEC Standards for product qualifications.
  • Product qualification, product/test/stress development, product design.
  • All phases of the product development lifecycle, including concept/architecture, design, development, verification, and validation activities necessary for product commercialization.

Experience working within an international organization.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Management experience.
  • Working knowledge of FPGA design and architecture, silicon process, sort/assembly/test product development.
  • Working knowledge of Silicon and package reliability, failure mechanisms, and acceleration models.
  • Design of Experiments and Statistical analysis.
