The WW Apple Online Store Sales team is looking for motivated, outgoing, and tech savvy individuals who want to offer customers an unparalleled customer experience over the phone, chat or face to face. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. The main focus of this job is to assist with technical expertise to the Apple Online organization. Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of customers - from brand new to Apple consumers to a high-level business executive. This position requires a hardworking problem solver that embodies a high degree of flexibility and initiative. Our duties are instrumental in providing support to our contact center resources and customers.

Key Qualifications

  • A driving passion for new and innovative technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work varied schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to keep up with new technology and trends in the tech industry daily
  • Experience communicating high-end technical information in a manner that is easily understood
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in Retail, Technical Support, Help Desk Support, or Customer Service and Sales
  • Advanced-user experience with iOS, Mac OS X and Windows, web browsing, Email, various software applications, Finder, System Preferences, Mail, Safari, iChat, Address Book, iLife, and iTunes and common files types and their uses
  • Practical experience with printers, iPads, iPhones, AppleTV and input devices as well as their peripheral connection types: USB, Firewire, and Bluetooth
  • Broad understanding of computing technology including: hardware components, data storage, operating systems, software applications, common peripheral devices, displays and how to connect them, and external connectivity
  • Knowledge of Internet services and network configurations including broadband, dial-up, and wired or wireless home networks


Assisting with sales technical expertise in the customer contact center

Provide creative customer solutions and address customer technical issues that deal with Apple capabilities and compatibility

Work with team managers to review technical education needs

Assist with MDM solutions for Small to medium businesses

Communicates well and deliver demonstrations on products and technology

Being the 'go-to' person for every technical critical issue within SSOA

Being warm, friendly and approachable - you should be a pleasure to work with

Along with the deepest levels of technical knowledge, you must be able to frame the discussion for every customer type

You will have the ability to transform technical knowledge into values that support customers purchase decisions

Being a part of the team, you will recommend complete solutions that complement customers lifestyles and needs

As a hardworking 'techie' you will actively understand new trends and technologies

You will support both internal and external vendor teams, ensuring customers feel consistent experiences across our services

You will lead a pro-active aim to constantly improve the technical knowledge of the Sales and Service teams

  • HTML Authoring and Design knowledge
  • Preferred Mac Specific Skills
  • Pro-App experience
