Job Summary: Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineering is responsible for all aspects of RAM/FRACAS activity within Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD).As a RAM/FRACAS Engineer youll ensure performance compliance according to both customer and internal requirements.
Responsibilities to Anticipate: This position will be responsible for:
Performing FRACAS tasks, including trend analysis and failure investigations
Supporting Reliability Test Planning and Execution: Accelerated, Growth, Demonstration
This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or a Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience. Qualifications You Must Have: Education: BS Degree in a STEM discipline or a BA in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Physics Employment Experience:
4+ years related engineering experience
Experience with reliability analysis or FRACAS
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience assessing RAM performance of fielded equipment.
Experience with Failure Review Boards
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Strong communication skills; Ability to present to diverse audiences
Ability & desire to work in large teams
Active Secret Clearance
