Job Description

Come join Quality and Reliability Models and Tools group (QRMT), within Intel's Corporate Quality Network-Intel's world-wide network of Quality, Reliability, and Regulatory certification teams.

As the Quality and Reliability Modeling  Data Analytics Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Develop dashboards and indicators for tracking key product quality and reliability signals across all Intel products spanning client, server, network edge, and memory devices.
  • Contribute to development and testing of automated dashboards for summarizing product quality and reliability indicators to senior management
  • Support existing modeling tools for quality and reliability modeling by partnering with product test engineers and process engineers
  • Develop new data analysis frameworks for analyzing large amounts of early manufacturing data to develop signals for identifying quality (DPM) improvement opportunities

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

 Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degree(s) plus the years of experience determined for each of the areas specified below. 

  • Master's Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study with 1+ years of experience in employing statistical methods for analyzing data; OR
  • PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study
  • 6+ months of relevant experience in PowerBI, SQL and one or more scripting languages (such as Python)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Intel manufacturing test flow and product quality and reliability
  • Pulling large amounts of manufacturing data from Intel's internal databases
  • Creating dashboards for summarizing data for an executive audience
  • Machine learning methods for analyzing manufacturing test data
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Detail oriented and focused on quality of work
  • Knowledge of full stack development with a focus on backend using node.js frameworks, REST APIs, and SQL.
