Do you love working with digital video? Are you passionate about video quality and making sure content is technically sound to provide the best possible viewing experience? Then join the AMP Video Operations team for a unique and exciting opportunity to support both the customer and Apple by focusing and maintaining video quality standards daily. The Video Quality & Compliance team is responsible for reviewing all video content that surfaces to customers via the Apple services ecosystem. Our content includes Apple TV+, Channels, Movies, TV, Extras and AppleMusic video which is distributed to over 100 countries globally. Our primary focus is to make certain all of our available videos content adheres to our high-quality standards and is delivered error-free from our partners. You will get to collaborate regularly with Operations, Business, Engineering, Production and Project Management organizations all while contributing ideas to improve systems, automate processes or increase efficiency. The Video Operations team focuses on creating the premiere video experience for all content types, with impact throughout the industry, for a worldwide digital audience. You are not only passionate about entertainment, but also care deeply about the customer experience, and can contribute to a diverse organization with expertise in Partner Relations, TV App Services, Video Services, Music Video Content, Technical Operations, and Quality Control.
Our responsibilities include working with distribution partners, ingestion of all video, audio, and ancillary assets, collaborating with developers on integration into our platforms & services, along with supporting localization, accessibility, quality control and more. We are a group of self-starters that thrive in a team oriented environment, utilizing analytical skills to compliment problem-solving abilities, to arrive at efficient solutions- all in order to support our collective goal of providing a truly exceptional global customer experience for our EST/VOD, OTT, and subscription platforms.
Key Qualifications
Daily management of video content quality control & compliance (QC)
Perform spot-checks of video assets, audio files, subtitles, audio descriptions, captions and metadata to assess quality and report errors
Execute full reviews on video assets considered important to AMP business
Perform thorough metadata evaluations and report error trends
Contribute innovative ideas regarding process, video workflow and automation to maximize efficiency and scalability
Understand, promote and communicate Apple's philosophy and values
Make reasonable autonomous decisions and know when to escalate issues
Work cross-functionally with other Content Operations teams including Metadata, Music & Books
Communicate with Business teams to understand priorities, report status of content and escalate issues
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 5 to 7 years industry related experience.
