Job Summary:
This is an opportunity to join the Qatar Early Warning Radar (QEWR) & Qatar Air Defense Operations Center (ADOC) Programs, as the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead. In this role, you will work directly with key program personnel to manage all FP&A activities associated with these programs.
The position will require frequent communication with senior level management across all functions within the business as well as the USAF customer and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) on occasion.

The successful candidate for this role should possess strong technical knowledge of finance and program control, financial planning & analysis, strong problem solving skills and have good communication skills. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment, and have the ability to multi task and work on several different program issues concurrently, in a fast paced environment. Candidate shall be comfortable working with and presenting to the program leadership team, lead engineers and other cross functional organizations. The individual should be dedicated to continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  1. Establish the Five Year and Annual Operating Plans for the program and supporting related executive reviews
  2. Providing accurate and predictable weekly and monthly financial forecasts with focus on the 4 key financial metrics: bookings, sales, profit, net cash, developing comprehensive risk and opportunity analysis against the financial plan with focus on risk mitigation and opportunity capture, driving strong cash flow results in line with business and shareholder expectations including management, reporting, and resolution of outstanding cash payments, supporting all ad hoc financial exercises from the customer, program management team, or business leadership including funding analysis, investor relations input, and all external and internal financial audits.
  3. Coordinate financial forecasts and planning with non-IDS partners including internal organization teammates and various subcontractors, processing all contractual modifications through the Raytheon contracts to cash and accounting teams
  4. Provide support to quarterly Estimate at Completion exercises and ensuring compliance to fee booking rate policies and guidelines, working with the program team to establish annual budgets for investment dollars including new business investment (NBI), capital investment, and overhead and tracking progress against those budgets throughout the year.
  5. Analyzing monthly staffing needs and supporting S&S staffing reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors Degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related
  • 5+ years of relevant professional financial work experience
  • Experience in SAP accounting system/Financial reports
  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
  • Experience establishing annual operating financial plans
  • Experience in FP&A role managing, analyzing, and updating monthly financial forecasts
  • Experience establishing and tracking risks and opportunities against financial plans
  • Experience with budgets and rates, including familiarity with company rate structure
  • Experience interfacing with senior level management and customers, including formal presentations
  • Understanding and experience with revenue recognition policies, Sarbanes Oxley, and EACs
  • Solid understanding of government contract procurement and funding processes
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
