As a Purchasing PM, you will be in charge of the purchasing processes from end to end for the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems Team. You will work with the team to ensure they have the support, knowledge, and resources required to maintain productivity. You will act as the primary liaison between our team and Finance/Procurement, developing a comprehensive understanding of Apple's purchasing policies and helping to craft and implement the purchasing flow for the organization. You will work with our web services team to develop tools to allow efficient ordering and tracking of goods and services

  • Previous inventory experience
  • Prior purchasing experience
  • Must be extremely organized

- Create, maintain, and document efficient processes for our purchasing and inventory team from end to end (including fixed asset inventory)
- Work closely with finance to assess priorities for tracking and spending
- Oversee the processing of purchase requests for goods and services (responsible for low value PRs and CapEx submissions)
- Coordinate purchase requisitions with non-US divisions & non-SCV sites
- Provide end to end support for capital equipment purchases
- Keep up to date and train others on corporate finance/procurement policies
- Create, implement, and maintain a system for tracking all fixed assets, AOU, and other required equipment
- Partner with cross-functional management to create and implement cost center level policies to ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures
- Other various finance related tasks including, but not limited to: utilization of internal systems such as Supplier Connect, SAP and other finance tools, managing and tracking CAPEX/OPEX spending
- Supervise the shipping/inventory warehouse and the process for best use of the resource
- Work with web services to develop and maintain internal tools (a purchasing tool and an audit tool) that support our changing needs
- May be required to manage contractors or CEs

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field desired

Additional Requirements

  • - Experience building and instituting an inventory system from the ground up a plus
  • - Experience with Apple products a plus
