As a member of the People Expansion team you will lead a wide variety of People and related cross-functional teams whose work is essential to Apple's expansion around the world. This role requires excellent project management skills along with a deep understanding of Recruiting. As a Project Manager, you must successfully lead multiple international projects simultaneously with limited oversight in order to drive the formation of an employee experience which is statutorily compliant, culturally relevant, and consistent with Apple's core values!

Key Qualifications

  • Lead and support projects utilizing Project Management and Recruiting skills, process improvement, functional knowledge, budget expertise, and business acumen
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through any or all of the project lifecycle from kick-off to post-project review and analysis
  • Drive the creation and implementation of a People Strategy aligned to Apple's I&D commitments in partnership with local business and People leadership
  • Drive the recruitment of diverse talent reflecting our customers and communities
  • Identify, monitor, and execute on key measures to ensure completion of multiple projects while mitigating risk
  • Consult with and manage relationships between stakeholders, partners, and leadership to ensure key deliverables are met on time
  • Collaborate with global business partners to accomplish objectives
  • Understand, empathize, and skillfully operate with differences in people and cultures
  • Apply strong acumen of Recruiting, including systems, marketing, sourcing, assessment, and offer processes, to solve for unique, global recruitment challenges
  • Identify, onboard and train recruitment vendors
  • Engage and contract for the appropriate number of recruiting resources
  • Build and implement the (NCO) Recruitment Plan, and deliver sustainable bench/pipeline
  • Curate all necessary recruitment messaging and internal communications

Description

Experience leading cross functional teams on international projects

Demonstrated ability to lead and complete large-scale, long term projects on time and within budget

Broad understanding of HR and key functional areas

Strong consultative skills and ability to develop relationships quickly

Global problem solver with a shown ability to learn on the fly and maintain composure in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Strong team orientation and collaborative style. Flexible demeanor and an ability to get involved in the details while maintaining a wider view

Excellent process management, planning, and organizational skills resilient and determined to ensure projects and results are achieved

Dedication to gain consensus and build partnerships by driving ideas from concept to execution

Robust problem solving skills and business acumen, with an ability to see the implications of actual and planned activities, adding value to leadership decisions

Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when advising leaders

Finds opportunities to ensure processes and practices are efficient and scalable through detailed measurement and analysis

High integrity and ethics in handling confidential information

Is learning agile and culturally curious; able to work across time and distance

Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

Education & Experience

At least 5 years of Project Management and Recruiting experience

Experience in retail, high-tech and/ or consulting industries preferred
