The Apple Events team is looking for a Project Manager to join its team of event professionals.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years as a project manager in the marketing/events/brand experience space.
  • Proven cross-functional influential leadership; confidence and experience collaborating in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent process management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous environment.
  • Passionate about executing process to drive scale and results without compromising quality.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and articulate ideas into easy to consume presentations and briefs.
  • Resilient and determined to ensure project goals are achieved on time.
  • Cultivates trust and relationships at all levels in the organization.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity.
  • Inventive and hardworking problem solver, at ease with working in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of Apple applications, including Mail, Numbers, Keynote, Pages, and Calendar.

Description

In this role, you will work on specific Apple events. The project manager is the "quarterback" of the execution of our events; leading project workflow while communicating roadblocks and continuously keeping the pulse on ways to improve how the team operates. The ideal candidate will have a strategic approach, get-it-done mentality, and enjoy working within a high-performance team.

Coordinate and drive Apple events, running overall project schedules, timelines, matrices and event communication.

Provide ongoing thought leadership to cross-functional partners based on your subject matter expertise and perspective.

Program-lead all aspects of your work to ensure operational excellence, outstanding execution of quality, and adequate partner management.

Develop and run the project timeline, ensuring execution is successfully met

Plan agendas and facilitate required meetings

Prioritize and drive cross-functional activities related to the event, develop and handle communications, summary reports, and status for various audiences.

Collaborate cross functionally with teams in Public Relations, Marcom, Procurement, IS&T, Finance,
RE&D as well as external service providers.

Mentor team members on matters of process, procedure, and organizational compliance.

Flexible in terms of what you work on and open to change.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
