Role Number:200217494

Be inspired every day. We're perfectionists. Idealists. Inventors. Forever tinkering with products and processes, always on the lookout for a better way. A job at Apple is one that requires a lot of you, but it's also one that rewards forward-thinking and hard work. None of us here at Apple would have it any other way.

In AppleCare BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) we view inclusion and diversity as critical for innovation. That's because our Project Managers lead the most ambitious cross-functional projects in AppleCare, the ones that involve multiple systems and drive complex changes across the AppleCare organization (and beyond). We convert ambiguity and uncertainty into order, and we know how to execute big projects successfully!

As a BPR Project Manager you will plan, mobilize, and execute medium to large projects, ensuring changes are well tested and organizations are ready for process changes. You will be the prime mover of your projects: scoping, resource planning, communications and project governance, risk management, organizational change, and readiness. You'll connect the dots, build trust and understanding between groups, and orchestrate the multitude of activities needed to make your projects successful! The ideal candidate should have experience managing medium-to-large, global projects that interweave multiple functional teams and/or multiple systems.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience planning, managing, and successfully delivering medium (6-8 month) to large (8-12+ month) systems projects.
  • Understands systems implementation and development life cycles.
  • Experience with global projects, incorporating regional and country-specific details.
  • Steady leader who maintains the project team's awareness of big picture objectives, while also helping them navigate the details.
  • Clear, well-curated written and verbal communication across diverse project teams, including polished executive presentations.
  • Quick learner, able to mobilize quickly and transition into in-flight projects without impacting the business.
  • Curious, eager to learn and understand the business processes and systems that are relevant to a project.
  • Creative, able to brainstorm solutions and contribute new strategies and options.
  • Organized, knows how to document project activity and structure information in easily findable ways.
  • Analytical, able to investigate business or systems problems to expose root causes and identify solution options.
  • Able to diagram business process flows and elicit business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Able to manage multiple projects or project tracks simultaneously.
  • Able to develop options and broker decisions across diverse teams.
  • Able to cut through uncertainty and navigate ambiguity to clarify objectives and execution plans.
  • Able to assess and mitigate project risks and respond to emerging issues.
  • Unafraid to forge a new path or work towards an objective that's never been done before.
  • Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese language skills (both verbal and written) a plus
