Project Manager - 105530

The Utility Operations Department at the University of West Florida invites applications for a full time Project Manager for the Pensacola campus.

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 Commensurate with Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a high school diploma and eight years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/ technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering: Computer Programming Experience: Specifically, in building automation systems. Experience with Siemens Insight and Desigo software systems regarding energy management.

Job Description/Duties: Daily monitoring of mechanical, electrical and support systems for Science Buildings complex 58C, 58 and 58A including but not limited to the following: Monitoring and control of HVAC systems including air changes per hour, applicable lab room pressurization, exhaust fume hood flow volumes, comfort control, building humidity control and air quality control. Monitoring of air quality through Aircuity sampling system for each lab in B58C. Monitoring and control of Lab Waste Neutralization system. Monitoring and control of Lab Compressed Air system. Monitoring and control of Lab Vacuum system. Monitoring and control of Lab water purification system. Monitoring and control of Lab Environmental Chambers. Monitoring and control of Lab domestic water heating system. Monitoring and control of building electrical system.

As time and resources become available assist with the following:
Building system analysis (HVAC/electrical/water/sewer) to reduce energy and utility consumption for other campus buildings. Enhancement, automation and increased utilization of TMA (Building Maintenance Management System). Migration from paper based documentation to electronic automated file and document storage via existing systems or internally developed app systems.

Development of GIS utility mapping of campus system and underground utilities to identify routing, valves and geo-tags. Manage related repair and construction projects.
