Description: GTRI's Information and Communications Laboratory (ICL) in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Project Administrator to join its mission of conducting applied research for analysis, design, development, test, and evaluation of prototype systems.  This position will provide project support and across ICL’s expanding portfolio of Ground Electronic Warfare (EW), Communications, and Propagation and Spectrum programs.  Responsibilities include project support and coordination of multiple related programs, maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets, interactions and presentations to customers, quality assurance, property control, and configuration management.  Activities are focused on the analysis and development of complete systems including hardware-in-the-loop emulation, system modeling and simulation, deployable prototype/first generation systems, lab test sets, and field test instrumentation. 

Candidates must have a background in supporting development and delivery of working prototypes and final products. Candidates must also enjoy working across a wide range of programs, developing in a team environment, and working with cutting edge systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors’

degree in a relevant field.

The position is based in Atlanta, GA, and will include approximately 20% travel.  The selection process will include passing a pre-employment background screening.

REQUIREMENTS THAT MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

Research Associate I

• BS in Engineering Technology, Management, International Affairs, or equivalent

• Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with at least a DOD SECRET security clearance
• At least 5 years of combined experience in Project Management, budget and scheduling, and Quality Assurance
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong understanding of DoD project management and requirements
• Demonstrated experience in logistics and property management
• Experience in software quality assurance
• Strong, organization, and communication abilities
• Ability to work well individually or in a group setting
• Ability to effectively present technical information

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Department of Defense background in logistics, quality assurance, and electronic warfare
• Experience in hardware and software configuration management and development of processes
• Training in Project Management and Quality Assurance
