Job Summary:
Security - Special Access Program (SAP) Security personnel interface with customers and the government on security requirements for proprietary programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities, helping them stay abreast of changes and updates in requirements.

The Industrial Security, Team Leader I will perform a variety of tasks as the Data Communications/Collaboration Lead within Special Programs Security. The selected individual will be a Team Lead overseeing and mentoring personnel supporting the Classified Communications and Collaboration functions of the department. This position will include maintenance/administration of ICD-705 accredited conference rooms as well as maintaining the accreditation/approval of secure communication equipment, Video Teleconference Equipment and COMSEC equipment; validation of personnel security clearances and accesses; and the scheduling and operation of communication and collaboration resources. The selected individual will support the security team in the daily operations of data centers, protected distribution systems and other enterprise defined shared resources.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Assist in the oversight and implementation of contractual security requirements for conference rooms, data centers, engineering development labs and multifunction test facilities utilizing the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, the ICD-705, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).
  • Administering the security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, and destruction of classified material.
  • Maintain personnel security databases to track personnel security clearances, accesses, and visitor certifications.
  • Maintain STEs, vIPers, VTCs, and COMSEC equipment.
  • Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans utilizing risk management principles.
  • Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
  • Establish and oversee specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material/information.
  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
Applicants may be considered for the Team Leader I, Industrial Security (G07) or the Team Leader II, Industrial Security (G08) position based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and position responsibilities.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree or additional 2 years of (insert job specific) experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college.
  • Team Leader I Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience (10 years without a Bachelors degree).
  • Team Leader II Minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience (12 years without a Bachelors degree).
  • An active and in-scope Top Secret US security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience implementing the following policies: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG and ICD 705.
  • Experience utilizing COMSEC equipment, STEs and vIPers.
  • Experience utilizing JPAS and DISS.
  • A valid drivers license is required, as this position may involve escorting individuals across business locations.
Qualifications We Value:
  • Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
  • At least 6 years of National Security experience preferred.
  • Experience in leadership roles within security.
  • Related training with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
  • Experience drafting and implementing SOPs and local security procedures.
  • Experience providing briefings or delivering presentations to live audiences.
