Job Summary:
The Program Security Representative (PSR) will support the Naval Air Missiles Product Area Directorate within the Naval Power Mission Area. This security professional has security decision authority for their area of responsibility and acts as a business facilitator while ensuring security compliance. Supporting within a matrixed organization, the incumbent must effectively engage with various levels of internal and external stakeholders while providing security guidance to program leadership. This position will report directly to the Naval Power Mission Area Security Business Partner.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Lead Security efforts in support of program execution while ensuring compliance with specified government directives (NISPOM, DAAPM, DOD policies).
  • Identify, mitigate and resolve highly complex security issues directly with internal teammates, the government customer and/or subcontractors.
  • Review contractual documents (Statement of Work, Basic Contract) and government directives for security applicability, impact analysis, and recommendations throughout the entire life cycle of the program.
  • Lead various compliance aspects in support of Program Execution to include, classification management, OPSEC, and threat awareness training.
  • Ability to analyze and brief senior leadership regarding security considerations related to Program Area impacts.
  • Support Mission Areas Security team and special projects as determined by security leadership and the needs of the business.
Dual Grade req info - This position can be a Industrial Security Specialist II (G07) or a Senior Industrial Security Specialist I (G08), based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Industrial Security Specialist II - 2 years of directly related experience - (Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, military or government Security Management).
  • Senior Industrial Security Specialist - 4 years of directly related experience - (Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, military or government Security Management).
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance.
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM/ICD, DoD contracts and/or DoD 5200.01 series.
  • Experience in writing and developing formal security plans to include operational security plans, transportation plans and/or directives.
  • Proactive and creative problem resolution skills.
  • Proven communication and writing skills.
  • U.S Citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Value:
  • Masters Degree preferred.
  • An active and in-scope Top Secret US security clearance.
  • ISP, SFPC, or other security-related certification.
  • Experience with any of the following: Direct Commercial Sale Contracts, Foreign Military Sales, ITAR and export control procedures.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with and ability to travel throughout the United States and Outside of the Continental United States.

Clearance Information:
This position requires an in scope security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
