Raytheon Technologies Precision Manufacturing is a leader in high precision mechanical product manufacturing. The business consists of multiple sites in the Dallas area with around 560 employees. Raytheon Technologies Precision Manufacturing is experiencing growth with primary focus in the defense and aerospace markets.
The program manager will lead the program execution of fabrication of metal components and assemblies supporting internal Raytheon Technologies programs. This position will act as the primary interface with multiple internal Raytheon Technologies customers in the areas of communicating status and performance [to include SCM, Program Operations, Engineering and Program Managers]. The responsibilities of the program manager include:
Setting the program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for cross-functional teams and sub-contractors.
Establishing an executable baseline and managing the programs risks and opportunities
Full accountability for their programs cost and schedule performance
Building strong internal networks and relationships with multiple internal Raytheon Technologies programs and functions
Overseeing their programs PRR (Production Readiness Review) activities
Effectively managing and tracking their portfolio of IOTs (Inter-Organizational Transfer)
Executing their programs Estimates At Complete cadence driving accountability to each of the contributing functions
Driving affordability initiatives within their programs to drive an internal competitive advantage
Please Note: This position can be a Manager I Program Manager or a Manager II Program Manager depending on candidate experience. Required Skills:
6 years experience in Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, SCM, Manufacturing and/or Engineering environment
Experience in leading cross functional (i.e. HR, Finance, engineering) teams, projects, and/or programs
Experience with Microsoft Office skills, (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
Experience auditing accuracy of forecast labor and material requirements to produce reliable Estimates At Complete (EACs)
Program Manager Certification (PM6) or the ability to achieve one within the first year of employment
Raytheon Earned Value (EV) Certification or equivalent or must obtain within 6 months of being assigned the position.
Desired Skills:
Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) proposal process
Demonstrated ability to effectively present to audiences at all levels including executive communication
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform analysis utilizing inputs from multiple functional groups
Experience within DOD industry and is familiar with Government Acquisition Regulations
Six Sigma training & problem solving skills
Experience building relationships with customers
Required Education: Bachelor degree preferably in Science, Engineering, Business or related area.
