Raytheon Missiles & Defense - Precision Manufacturing organization (RPM) encompasses two remote location factories (Lemmon Ave., Dallas, TX and University St., McKinney, TX) that are structured under the Missile and Defense business unit of Raytheon Technologies. RPM manufactures a wide variety of precision machined, plated, and painted parts for various radar, FLIR, Missile, and Communications systems across Raytheon.

Job Summary:

The Program Manager will drive the program execution of fabrication of metal components and assemblies supporting internal Raytheon Technologies programs. This position will act as the primary interface with multiple internal Raytheon Technologies customers in the areas of communicating status and performance [to include Supply Chain Managers, Program Operations, Engineering and Program Managers].

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Setting the program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for cross-functional teams and sub-contractors.
  • Establishing an executable baseline and managing the programs risks and opportunities
  • Full accountability for their programs cost and schedule performance
  • Building strong internal networks and relationships with multiple internal Raytheon Technologies programs and functions
  • Overseeing their programs PRR (Production Readiness Review) activities
  • Effectively managing and tracking their portfolio of IOTs (Inter-Organizational Transfer)
  • Executing their programs Estimates At Complete (EAC) cadence driving accountability to each of the contributing functions
  • Driving affordability initiatives within their programs to drive an internal competitive advantage
  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a PhD is equal to 4 years of experience
  • Ability to obtain a Six Sigma Certification, Earned Value Certification and Program Management Certification
Qualifications You Must Have:

Program Management
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Finance or similar discipline or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • 5 years experience in Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Engineering environment
  • Experience with metal machining technology, metal component manufacturing machine or related methods experience
  • Experience in leading teams, projects, and/or programs (i.e. Finance, Engineering, Operations)
  • Experience auditing accuracy of forecast labor and material requirements to produce reliable Estimates At Complete (EACs)
  • Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and TINA proposal process
  • Existing Program Management Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (preferably level 4)
  • Raytheon EV Certification or equivalent or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Sr. Program Management
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Finance or similar discipline or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • 8 years experience in Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Engineering environment
  • Experience with metal machining technology, metal component manufacturing machine or related methods experience
  • Experience in leading teams, projects, and/or programs (i.e. Finance, Engineering, Operations)
  • Experience auditing accuracy of forecast labor and material requirements to produce reliable Estimates At Complete (EACs)

Qualifications We Value:

  • Experience in additive manufacturing, assembly, and test methods
  • Strong knowledge of executing within an IOT factory environment
  • Experience with SAP / PRISM
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling and use of MS Project
  • Experience supporting the DOD industry and Government Acquisition Regulations
