The SHORAD Finance team (SHOrt Range Air Defense) within the LW&AD (Land Warfare and Air Defense) Mission Area has an immediate need for a Program Cost Sched & Cont Analyst to provide support to our portfolio of efforts. SHORAD Programs include Coyote and Rapid Development Programs (CRDP) Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, MRFRs Radar Programs and Phaser High Powered Microwave (HPM) programs. The portfolio is a major growth driver for LW&AD as it is heavily engaged in emerging growth markets for Counter-UAS, Loitering Munitions and non-kinetic defeats.

In this role, you will work with all levels of management and partner with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office) to ensure that the contracts are performed within contractually agreed-upon parameters. You will work in a challenging and fast paced team environment. Frequent interaction with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership will require the successful candidate to possess strong presentation and communication skills, and have a strong understanding of Earned Value Principles and Processes.

You must be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being aggressively challenged. This role requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with the Program Managers, MFRFS Business Manager, and customer representatives from the finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating, and financial objectives. You will be a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of gate reviews, contract modification negotiations, financial reporting, and EACs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  1. Provide comprehensive Cost and Schedule analysis
  2. Financial oversight and coordination with a broad set of IOT partners
  3. Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews and other financial reporting activities as required
  4. Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)
  5. Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255
  6. Support preparation of cost CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs) and Contractor Funding Summary Reports (CFSRs)
  7. Support the monthly forecast / close process
  8. Support the development of the annual operating plans (AOP) and five year strategic operating plan

This position can be a Sr Cost Schedule & Control Analyst or Principal Cost Schedule &Control Analyst based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in financial analysis, program controls or related field
  • Experienced user of SAP EVMS software, SAP Business Warehouse or equivalent system
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

  • Proactive and demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
