The Apple TV+ IS&T team owns the technology strategy, delivery, and sustainment of IT systems used to enable Apple TV+ Studio and Production operations. We ensure technology and business strategy remain tightly aligned through multi-functional partnership, knowledge of industry trends, and familiarity with the Apple corporate systems landscape. We work closely with leadership, business partners, engineers, vendors, information security, and others to deliver a technology ecosystem that meets the demands of a high growth organization.
We are looking for an Innovation & Workflow Engineer to join our team. The role collaborates with studio departments such as VFX, Post-Production & Physical Production and production crew working on Apple Studios Productions to build new technology pipelines and workflows that support content creation. We support various production globally from conceptualization all the way through completion. We work in a very fast-paced and highly demanding production environment. Key Qualifications
Take a multidisciplinary approach centered on networking and collaboration with existing Apple business units to source and develop innovative solutions to a fast-paced production environment
Bring innovation to the production workflow through forward thinking production technology solutions to increase efficiencies across all phases of the content creation process
Evangelize new insights and technical solutions with Apple+ production execs and the production departments while being able to listen to requests and workflow issues to distill and design better methodologies and workflows for crafting content
Liaison between Apple+ Production Technology group and the Productions working with production departments to inform of all available Apple+ technology solutions and work with the crews to setup and implement solutions as needed
Develop cloud-based workflows for used during the content creation process
Diagnose and solve issues related to storage systems
Build an exemplary customer service experience
Maintain close relationships with the Apple TV+ production and other IS&T department within Apple
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the media and entertainment industry standard methodologies
Education & Experience
5+ Years supporting technology in a Media & Entertainment Environment
5+ Years working on-set of feature/episodic productions
