Join Intel's security community as a Product Security Researcher in the Data Platforms Group (DPG) Software Engineering team. You will be part of a global organization delivering E2E platform software for Xeon Platforms and data center workloads. You will have a front-row view of the latest technologies and platforms spanning Cloud, 5G, Edge, AI, and Connectivity. Your role is a critical part of delivering world-class products with robust security.

The ideal candidate must have strong industry experience in product security and have a deep technical background in security architecture, design, development and validation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Staying up to date on industry security trends and application to Intel product development. Includes participating in industry conferences and publications.
  • Leading technical security reviews and ratifying architecture, design and implementation of product software.
  • Supporting Software Architects with threat modeling.
  • Leading product hardening activities (Red Teaming, Hackathon, Fuzzing, Pen Testing).
  • Supporting resolution of post-release security issues.
  • Training and coaching others on best practices for secure product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree along with 6+ years of industry experience.
  • 4+ years experience in systems, hardware, firmware or software security.
  • 2+ years of experience in security architecture, security design, secure development or penetration testing roles in relevant technology domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Threat modeling, Exploitation and mitigation technique developments, Security testing techniques.
  • Experience of multiple programming languages.
  • Experience in critically evaluate products, identify security concerns and recommend appropriate mitigations.
  • Experience in decomposing high-level descriptions into technical details and clear requirements for engineering development and validation.
  • Experience with industry Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) processes, security assurance tasks and in-depth technical security reviews, for enabling continuous delivery using agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into detail.
