Job Description

The Product Quality and Reliability Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Provide project management, product, process design/development, and sustaining support for integrated circuit or semiconductor assemblies, various other electronic components, subsystems, and/or completed units.
  • Physical understanding, model prediction, and enhancement of quality & reliability for advanced products, transistor, interconnect, assembly/package, and testing process.
  • Define Si/assembly/package qualification requirement and be responsible for product qualification or technology certification.
  • Define/develop and conduct stress tests, DFX requirements, and research on individual technology components as well as integrated circuits/products.
  • Develop cost-effective production monitoring and screening schemes to ensure the process is stable and products meet committed quality & reliability performance.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Quality Engineering, Physics or related field of study.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Customer Quality Engineering, or Design, Development Engineering for FPGAs, microprocessors or ICs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience identifying, assessing, and managing risks.
  • Familiarity with silicon and packaging failure mechanisms and FI/FA methods, as well as product testing methodology.
