Job Description

This role is an opportunity to be a part of Intel's Corporate Quality Network organization working for the Product Quality and Reliability Engineering (PQRE) team. As a PQRE you will play a vital role in the qualification and product launch of Intel's latest Server, CPU, and 5G products.

Product Quality and Reliability Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Ensuring product quality and reliability meet Intel's high standards.
  • Definition, execution, and data analysis of Quality and Reliability Validation (QRV) experiments.
  • Understanding and risk assessment of failures.
  • Development of reliability stress and data collection methods.
  • Be a champion of quality across business groups at Intel.
  • Issue management, ensuring quality goals are met on a consistent basis and resolving customer issues.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.  Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

This an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry) or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Materials) or related field of study.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with at least one of the following:
    • Data collection and statistical data analysis, especially statistical process control.
    • Design of experiments, measurement capability analysis, and screening experiments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in:
    • Semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, reliability/device physics.
    • Data Based Problem Solving using tools such as SQL Scripting, JMP Statistical analysis.
    • Structured problem-solving methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
    • Hands on experience with equipment and PCB troubleshooting and debug utilizing lab instrumentation e.g. Oscilloscopes, Digital Multi Meters, tool schematics and board files.
    • Lab Programming Languages - SW Development High Level Languages (Labview, Python, Java) / Low Level (Assembly, C++).
