Key Qualifications

  • Possess deep knowledge of video recording technology, post-production workflows, film editing, and 3rd-party hardware and software products
  • Demonstrate features and technologies to professional video editors, motion graphics artists, and colorists to understand their needs and requirements
  • Have experience editing video projects, with knowledge of motion graphics, audio, color correction, and delivery
  • Work in a global cross-functional team with engineering, public relations, and marketing communications through the complete product development cycle
  • Drive the definition of broad, complex, and high impact products for worldwide markets, assisting in the development of the product line strategy
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to pursue in future products
  • Collect global customer, developer, and partner requirements for future product development
  • You are flexible and versatile in nature, able to take on new challenges and embrace change and ambiguity enthusiastically
  • You should be able to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic environment
  • Balance trade-offs involving features, schedule, cost, line positioning, and lifecycle management
  • Communicate and position the product in relation to other products and the competition
  • Define product positioning and key product messages
  • Work with marketing communications and PR to develop product launch activities and marketing materials
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across multiple audiences and partners
  • You have strong presentation skills, and the ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization
  • Travel the world as the ambassador for your product attending customer visits, press briefings and industry events

Apple is looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing team. As a Pro Video Apps Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining new features that will shape the future of professional post-production, and launching new products. This includes working both inbound and outbound to drive the development, introduction, maintenance, and/or obsolescence of features and technologies

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA preferred
