We're looking for an experienced Health Product Marketing Manager to join our Worldwide Product Marketing team and focus on defining new features that will help continue Apple's leadership in the health and smart watch categories. This includes focusing on the development, introduction, maintenance, and/or obsolescence of features and technologies. Come and do the best and most exciting work of your career at Apple!

Key Qualifications

  • Experience working closely with clinical, regulatory, engineering, design, PR and marketing communication teams to define and launch compelling health products for end users.
  • Experience developing marketing claims for regulated health products and features (e.g., medical devices), and integrating them into consumer facing marketing materials including websites, press materials and keynote presentations.
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills, as well as shown success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level.
  • Deep experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing.
  • Validated experience and deep knowledge of consumer healthcare, wearable, smart watch, fitness and health, portable and/or wireless products or operating systems.
  • Requires international and domestic travel.


Work in a global cross-functional team with engineering, operations, finance, public relations, and marketing communications through the complete product development cycle.

Execute the process used to define a product's features.

Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to pursue in future products.

Collect global customer, developer, and partner requirements for future product development.

Handle tradeoffs involving features, schedule, cost, pricing, line positioning, and lifecycle management.

Discern new product development opportunities while contributing to the development of the overall Apple Watch and health product line strategy.

Possess expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products.

Communicate and position the product in relation to other products and the competition.

Define product positioning and key product messages. Work with marketing communications and PR on the development of product launch activities, media releases, and marketing materials.

Closely follow emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends and make recommendations for how products will demonstrate or fit into those emerging trends.

Travel the world as the ambassador for your product attending customer visits, and press briefings.

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA preferred.
