Job Description

As a Wireless Product Marketing Engineer (PME) you will provide marketing support for wireless (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other technologies) connectivity products as part of Intel's Client Computing Group's Wireless Solutions Group.


A successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • The ability to grasp technical details for features and capabilities and translate them into industry and customer consumable collaterals.

  • Experience managing external relationships with partners and fellow travelers

  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with Engineering, Strategic Planning, and Platform Product teams and the ability to influence joint roadmap decisions

  • The ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations both internally and externally.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Developing and executing successful marketing strategies and business development strategies, and work with platform partner groups and engineering organizations to define product features, requirements, business strategy, and go to market plans.

  • Being responsible for one or many products, features, and/or product family.

  • Working with and managing relationships with internal/external organizations, ecosystem partners, fellow travelers, and client OEM customers on new features, business strategies, and securing design wins.

  • Representing the product to customers, sales force, and executives, representing market's needs to engineering.

  • Conducting competitive product/pricing analysis and market research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates and reviews strategic long-range strategies, plans, goals, and objectives for specific product areas and features.

  • Overseeing development and production of marketing material, may be required to develop and present product training material. Responsible for creation and maintenance of product briefs and pricing strategies.

  • Developing product specification and additional requirements. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.

  • Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years experience or MBA with 4+ years of related industry marketing experience most preferably in a product marketing role.

  • 1+ years of experience should include practical application of principles and methods for defining product requirements, setting product strategies, showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

  • 1+ year of experience in developing marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstration, and managing a design win funnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Wireless experience is a plus
