As part of our Apple Online store Product team, you'll help craft a seamless, high-quality digital retail experience for our customers. Join our team, and you'll help Apple make sure our customers experience an online shopping experience like no other.
We are seeking a highly organized, results-oriented product manager to join a user-experience driven e-commerce product team focused on delivering innovative digital transaction experiences. The digital Transactions Checkout team is responsible for the worldwide buying experience across all platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for product design, innovation, technology and how it can enrich and revolutionize the future retail shopping experience. This person should have consumer product experience with a history of managing complex, large scale initiatives working collaboratively with worldwide and regional teams to facilitate or enhance customer shopping experiences, and will be responsible for defining, developing and launching initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • Structured/Analytical thinker - can simplify complex problems and issues in an easy to understand manner and communicate to technical and non-technical partners alike
  • Demonstrated success in planning, delivering large-scale (8-12 month) cross-functional projects
  • Expertise writing detailed business requirements intended for software engineering, UI/UX design, and track record of working with engineering/design partners to build technology solutions
  • Experience planning, managing, and leading sophisticated technology projects in a high-paced, constantly evolving work environment, leading the team through issue resolution throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Excellent meeting facilitation, Strong verbal/presentation and written communication skills.
  • Experience with worldwide/international experience design and localization processes.
  • Well-versed in the evolution of commerce checkout trends.
  • Data driven and ability to understand the key insights, and work with analytics team, to collect and collate the key data needed for decision making.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and passionate about digital shopping experiences.
  • Strong technical background, ability to dive into the technical details is a must.
  • Success collaborating with software engineering partners to reduce technical debt, introduce new technologies, and migrate to new architectures
  • Experience using Agile development methodologies and familiarity using JIRA/Confluence to document business requirements. Prioritizing work into Epics, User Stories, and writing Acceptance Criteria is a plus

Description

Define the product strategy and prioritized roadmap for global checkout portfolio inclusive of geo-expansion, conversion optimization, and customer experience improvements.
Work with multiple project management teams and several cross functional partners to align roadmaps and requirements to ensure deliverables are meeting business goals.
Collaborate with business partners to define strategic initiatives and roadmaps.
Define product enhancements and features and communicate requirements to engineering and design teams through clearly written requirements documents, diagrams, and verbal communication.
Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the operations, marketing, PR, support and contact center teams.
Manage cross-functional schedules and report on project health to management and executives
Identify, assess and mitigate risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, and trade-offs.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
Be able to work independently; anticipating and resolving problems and comfortable navigating through ambiguity.
Measure and report on the efficacy of initiatives and develop action plans accordingly.
Collaborate with the X Functional teams to deliver product features and roadmap

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education
8+ years of Product Management experience
