Apple Support Digital is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Product Manager to coordinate a suite of software apps in the AppleCare eCommerce space! These products range from web-based to iOS apps enabling our customers worldwide to add AppleCare+ coverage for eligible products. Topics of interest in this space include eCommerce, customer experience, problem solving for worldwide expansion, integration with machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud and advanced payment network integrations.

The Product Manager needs to have a solid understanding of software development methodologies as well as experience with iOS and OS development teams and payment processing architecture. Product duties will rely on your ability to understand and translate technical concepts for consumption by various business teams and partners and to then translating business priorities back to relevant technical teams!

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years product management experience in eCommerce or related field
  • Familiarity with eCommerce business practices in customer experience and technology
  • Ability to work with partners to align on and execute vision and strategy
  • Expertise writing detailed business requirements intended for software engineering, UI / UX design, and a track record of working with engineering / design partners to build technology solutions
  • Strong technical background and ability to dive into technical details
  • Comfortable driving product management principles and processes with business partners, UX/UI design teams and engineering teams
  • Knowledge of common web technology (HTML, CCS, JavaScript), enterprise systems (SAP) and global payment networks (PayPal, AliPay, etc.)
  • Familiarity with guiding Agile/Scrum software development projects
  • Experience working with global teams

Description

In this role, you will manage the strategic roadmap for online sales of AppleCare products as well as representing the interests of AppleCare Digital leadership in coordination with the Business Development team, Human Interfaces (HI), Apple Media Products team and Apple Software Engineering team among others. In addition, you will need to develop and maintain a strong point of view on the digital team's role in stewardship of the AppleCare+ ownership journey. Establish strong working relationships with engineering teams, business partners, UI/UX designers and other application Product Managers. You will also act as the subject matter authority and champion for use of our sales platforms across AppleCare and Apple as a whole. It's also critical you be able to contribute to technical problem solving related to the overall product vision and to effectively communicate those technical details to both software developers and non-developers / business partners. Finally, this position requires you to perform traditional Product Owner responsibilities in a Scrum team, including developing a compelling vision, handling product backlog, prioritizing needs and working with designers & software developers team to build & launch high quality features within tight timelines.

Education & Experience

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
MBA preferred
