As a product engineer, you will be part of the newly created Product Engineering and Management group at IMO (Intel Mask Operation).

The initial scope of the Responsibilities of the group include but not limited to:

  • Working with the Integration system working group to: support introduction of new mask types to support new technology node requirements; ; pellicle type definitions; mask-related Tapeout collatoral modules; system integration with the incoming tapeout data and out-going mask-level data; continuous improvement of mask order processing business system.

  • Focus

  • New technology Introduction (NTI) and New production Introduction (NPI) execution and Incoming Tapeout Data to drive NTI/NPI readiness; systematically eliminate rejects related to NTI/NPI setups and execution; formalize Quality Assurance (QA) and control on the incoming data; ensure that all mask-related collaterals and disposition requirements for each order are in place; understand scanner deliverables and Fab Litho test mask needs.

  • Setting product/layer customer commits with our product and factory partners and tracking/ensuring delivery to schedule.

  • Communicating with our Si wafer factory customers on the delivery status of products and facilitating/tracking any issues.

  • Coordinating with IMO production on product/layer priorities in the factory and helping to set process priorities based on customer need date.

  • Ensuring sufficient blank grade inventories for production and engineering masks, as well as facilitating blanks for new blankgrade NTI's.

  • Continuing to drive communication and automation between IMO and the Si wafer factories for real-time visibility on Si product status and mask needs.

  • Drive the CIP projects of TPT (throughput time) reduction and PAS (Performance Against Schedule) improvements.

  • Drive the product management efficiency through automation improvement.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business or in related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in Photomask processing or lithography.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Business or in related field.

6+ months of experience in any one or more of the following:

  • Stakeholder manager/customer orientation experience

  • Inventory management/forecast experience

  • Contacts/Supplier management experience
