The Programmable Solutions Groups Custom Logic engineering (CLE) team based in San Jose, CA. The department under CLE is CME (Custom logic manufacturing engineering). The department is involved in building manufacturing solutions for leadership custom logic portfolio including Fabric FPGA, transceivers. The products include the Intel Stratix 10 and Intel Agilix branded FPGA products & now the novel IPU segment products targeting the smartNIC market.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
  • Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
  • Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
  • Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
  • Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions.
  • Tests, validates, modifies and redesigns circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
  • Evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
  • Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
  • Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
  • Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Education Requirement

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
 

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • ATE (automated test equipment) test content and program development
  • Experience in Programming (Python, C++, or Perl)
  • Experience in yield analysis, test method development, debugging complex test circuits and
  • Experience in ATE Tester software
  • Expertise in developing software automation capability to drive efficient solutions for high volume manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in logic design, design testing, and computer architecture

Expertise in digital and analog circuits

Expertise in scripting in Python, or C++
