We are hiring Product Development Engineers (PDEs) in digital, analog, systems, power thermal, fuse, and test program integration roles. Are you passionate about computer graphics? Intel's GPU products are constantly evolving to run all the leading edge applications in 3D graphics, machine learning, video processing, and other highly parallelized data applications.In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:Ensures the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production rampContributing significantly to design, development, and validation of testability circuits. This includes the evaluation, development, and debug of complex test methodsDeveloping and debugging complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipmentCreating and testing validation and production test hardware solutions. Testing, validating, modifying, and redesigning circuits to guarantee component margin to specificationAnalyzing and evaluating component specification versus performance to ensure an optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability. This is achieved with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capabilityAnalyzing early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activitiesCreating and applying concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraintsPDEs are expected to autonomously plan and schedule their own daily tasks and develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years experience in the following:

  • Analog circuits
  • Unix/OS coding and other scripting languages (e.g. Python, TCL, Perl)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in:

  • ATE
  • High volume manufacturing (HVM)
  • Test content creation to support debug/validation
  • Graphics
  • IO/Analog design/Test

Inside this Business Group

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
