We are hiring Product Development Engineers (PDEs) in digital, analog, systems, power thermal, fuse, and test program integration roles. Are you passionate about computer graphics? Intel's GPU products are constantly evolving to run all the leading edge applications in 3D graphics, machine learning, video processing, and other highly parallelized data applications.

Responsibilities of the role include, although not limited to:

  • Ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp

  • Contributing significantly to design, development, and validation of testability circuits. This includes the evaluation, development, and debug of complex test methods

  • Developing and debugging complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment

  • Creating and testing validation and production test hardware solutions

  • Testing, validating, modifying, and redesigning circuits to guarantee component margin to specification

  • Analyzing and evaluating component specification versus performance to ensure an optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability. This is achieved with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability

  • Analyzing early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities. Creating and applying concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints

  • Autonomously plan and schedule their own daily tasks and develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship for those with a Bachelors degree and less than 3 years of experience.  Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelors degree with three years related  job experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years experience -OR- a Master's degree with in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in:

  • Graphics

  • Manufacturing development or pre/post silicon validation

  • Python programming

  • Semi-conductor design

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
